We are delighted to welcome the esteemed Dr. Santosh Kumar Yadav to the WiSAR team as a Senior Data Scientist specialising in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision and high-performance computing.
Previously, Dr. Santosh worked as an AI Research Scientist at CeADAR Ireland, a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Galway, and a researcher at Xperi Inc.
Previously, he completed a Ph.D. from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, India. In his Ph.D. thesis, Unobtrusive Multimodal Human Activity Recognition, he developed and evaluated methods for identifying human activities using a combination of computer vision, wearable sensing, and wifi sensing.
During his time as a postdoctoral researcher in the C3-Imaging Group and as a research intern at XPERI, Dr. Santosh led the development of a cost-effective, low-power AI processing platform that incorporates both sound and vision inputs.
Dr. Santosh is passionate about advancing research and innovation and bringing emerging technologies to market. He has published several research papers, which can be accessed on his website.
