The WiSAR Lab grew from the earlier European funded EpiCentre, launched in 2004, with the aim to provide innovative technology solutions for entrepreneurs and SMEs. These early foundations fostered a strong reputation and commitment at the WiSAR Lab, to engage with all entrepreneurs and technologists seeking to explore emerging technologies that deliver real world solutions for today’s society.
Since these early beginnings, the centre has expanded significantly, working with a wide range of industry partners through a multi-disciplinary approach, to deliver cutting-edge products and ideas across many markets including Agriculture, Health, Sport, Tourism, Food, and Transportation, among others.
With a strategic cross-border location in the northwest, the WiSAR Lab has developed a distinguished track record of collaboration, spanning not only across the island of Ireland, but also internationally.
