WiSAR Lab Paper Published in IEEE Xplore Following EuCAP2026 Presentation

Research from WiSAR Lab Postdoctoral Researcher Sahar Saleh has been officially published in IEEE Xplore, following its presentation at the 2026 European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP2026) in April.

The paper, titled “Measured Performance and CST-Based Analysis of Compact UWB Vivaldi Antenna for Wind Turbine Blade Health Monitoring,” explores the use of compact ultra-wideband (UWB) Vivaldi antenna technology for applications in wind turbine blade health monitoring.

Sahar presented the research at EuCAP2026, providing an opportunity to discuss the work with researchers and industry professionals working across the field of antennas and propagation, while receiving feedback and engaging in discussions around the research.

The paper is co-authored by Tale Saeidi, Dr Nick Timmons, Qusay Shihab Hamad, Dr Shahanawaz Kamal and Farouq Razzaz.

The publication highlights WiSAR Lab’s ongoing research into advanced antenna technologies, sensing and structural health monitoring, supporting the development of innovative approaches for applications in renewable energy and beyond.
