Zahid Ali Rajput is a PhD researcher in Computing at Atlantic Technological University, Donegal, Ireland, with a research focus on Autonomous Network Communication Models for Emergency Response Systems. His work integrates wireless communication, networking algorithms, and resilient system design. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Systems & Networks from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, both with First Division honors.
From 2018 to 2022, he served as a Research Associate and Assistant at Mehran UET on the HEC-funded NRPU#6876 project, where he led the development of a Semi Anechoic Chamber, contributed to the MUET FM 92.6 project, and supervised laboratories in wireless systems and microwave testing. He has also worked in the industry as an IT Support Associate at Basecamp Data Solution (USA), with prior roles at PTCL, NADRA, and internships at PTCL and PIA. His technical background spans Physical-layer wireless systems, MAC-layer protocols, and network design. He holds certifications in HCIA, HCIP, CCNA, Cisco IoT, CWNA, MySQL, and C++, and serves as a reviewer for Elsevier’s Computers & Electrical Engineering journal.
