Dr Ram Prasadh Narayanan

Dr. Ram Prasadh Narayanan is a postdoctoral researcher at the WiSAR Lab, Atlantic Technological University (ATU). He received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Embedded Systems from Anna University and Amrita University, India, in 2010 and 2014, respectively.

He began his career as an Embedded Software Engineer at a start-up specializing in fingerprint and sensing technologies (January 2011–May 2012). He later worked as a Research Intern at a start-up focused on wireless sensing solutions for agriculture (August 2014–September 2015).

From October 2015 to October 2019, he was awarded the prestigious Kreitman Graduate Fellowship, supporting his PhD research in Computing and Nanorobotics. He subsequently received the ERCIM Postdoctoral Fellowship and was associated with the Institute of Electronic Systems, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, from February 2022 to January 2024.

Between February 2024 and April 2026, he was a member of the Mobile Ecosystem and Pervasive Sensing Group at the Walton Institute, Ireland, contributing to the VistaMilk Initiative and EDIH ENTIRE services.

His research interests include embedded systems for medical wearables, neuromorphic computing, e-textiles and smart materials, and the Internet of Health Things (IoHT).
