Mirshahin is a doctoral researcher in the WiSAR Lab at Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Letterkenny, Ireland. His current research focuses on Hybrid Microwave–Photonic Beamforming Systems for 6G Communication.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Islamic Azad University, Tabriz Branch, Iran. He then moved to Italy and completed his Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. His master’s thesis is titled “Analysis of a Circularly‑Polarized Fabry‑Perot Cavity Antenna Based on a Depolarizing Metasurface and a Dual‑Slot Array Feeder.”
After his master’s, Mirshahin joined the WiSAR Lab at Atlantic Technological University, where he now pursues his PhD.
