Maria Gallagher is the Communications Officer at the WiSAR Lab. Maria has held a diverse range of communications roles across the private and public sector, including the role of Editorial Assistant with national publishing firm, Harmonia Group and holds an MSc in International Business from Ulster University.
Maria has a strong interest in developing and championing regional entrepreneurship and innovation, having previously led start-ups to internalisation and held the position as Assistant Economic Development Officer at Donegal County Council.
At WiSAR, Maria works closely with clients, academics, and researchers to profile a wide range of collaborative research projects to regional, national and international stakeholders.
