Kieran McGee is a Research Engineer at the WiSAR Lab, with over nine years’ experience in application development. Kieran develops software to work in conjunction with the electronics produced by the other members of the WiSAR team. This includes user interfaces to display status information and control and management of hardware, web-based dashboards to display data providing system overviews and mobile applications to work with systems in the field or on the go.
Kieran has a varied background in both science and computing that helps guide his software development and research process and holds an MSc in Computer Security, which helps him to identify potential security issues in projects before they become realised security flaws.
