Joe Coll is a lecturer in the Department of Design and Creative Media at ATU Donegal. He completed an undergraduate in Visual Communication (2006) and a Master’s through Research in Visual Communication (2012) at the National College of Art and Design Dublin. He also completed the MA in Learning and Teaching at ATU Donegal in 2022. He teaches on the Graphic Design & Illustration undergraduate course and the Master of Arts in UX Design & Applied Innovation. He specialises in brand strategy and identity, and user interface design and soft prototyping. He is a member of the IDI and has been a judge for the ISTD student assessments for over six years. Along with his teaching practice, he has been involved in various user interface design projects for Erasmus+ funded projects, Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers, and Data2Sustain clients.
