Fiona Barrett is the Project officer within WiSAR lab, supporting the delivery of EU-funded research and innovation programmes. A qualified Medical Scientist with the HSE, with previous experience as a Clinical Trials Coordinator for Biogen and Novartis, and as an Associate Start-Up Manager at Q² Solutions, Edinburgh, supporting global pharmaceutical clinical trials.
Fiona holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management (IPM) Ireland, with expertise in project governance, risk management, budgeting, procurement, stakeholder management, and the delivery of collaborative public sector, research, and commercial projects.
At WiSAR, Fiona has a particular interest in research and innovation, working across a diverse portfolio of EU-funded and innovation programmes that foster collaboration between academia, industry, healthcare, and public sector partners.
