Eoin Byrne, B.Eng. (Hons), is a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering at Atlantic Technological University, Donegal. He brings over a decade of industrial experience in Mechanical Design, Automation, and Maintenance Engineering within the Automotive and Textile sectors. Eoin’s expertise encompasses machine design, automation, and process improvement. In addition to his academic role, he is the founder of MDC Engineering Ltd, providing mechanical design, maintenance, and control solutions to companies across the Northwest. Through his combined academic and industrial experience, Eoin actively fosters industry university collaboration and supports applied research through practical real-world projects.
