Dr. William Farrelly is a lecturer in the department of computing at the Atlantic Technological University where he specialised in computer system security, cryptography, digital forensics and XR technologies. With a background in both industry and education, he combines practical and academic skillsets to offer students well-rounded and relevant education. His research interests include emerging digital trends, educational technologies, digital security and virtual reality and related topics. He is committed to fostering a forward-thinking learning environment at ATU. He has contributed to numerous industry projects and academic publications, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
