Dr Paul Greaney, BSc, PhD, FHEA, is a Lecturer in Computing at ATU Donegal. His research interests are in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. He graduated from the University of Galway with BSc (Hons) and PhD degrees in Applied Mathematics. Following this, he spent three years as a Deep Learning Research Engineer with Valeo Vision Systems, working on computer vision algorithms for autonomous driving applications. Paul teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in machine learning, data science, and mathematics, and is currently programme chair for the MSc in Data Science and BSc (Hons) in Computing and AI at ATU Donegal. He regularly works on collaborative projects with industry, with a focus on process optimisation, software integration, and data analytics.
