Chris Roulston, B.Eng (Hons), MSc, is a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering at Atlantic Technological University, Donegal. He has an industrial background across the mechanical and manufacturing sectors and more than ten years of teaching experience at the university. His teaching area spans mechanical design, manufacturing, and technology-related subjects, with a particular focus on CAD/CAM and CNC machining.
Chris has contributed to numerous industrial R&D projects, supporting companies in prototype development, new product innovation, and process improvement. His project experience covers a wide range of industries, including materials handling, agricultural machinery, refrigeration, marine, and advanced manufacturing. Through his academic and industrial experience, he contributes to industry–university collaboration and supports applied research through real-world projects.
