Overview
The SPEAR Centre (Semiconductor Photonics Education and Research Centre) is a PEACEPLUS, cross-border initiative supporting SMEs across the 12 counties of the Ireland–Northern Ireland region to explore and adopt photonics and AI-driven solutions. The project brings together leading academic and industry partners, including Atlantic Technological University, Ulster University, Tyndall National Institute and industry partner Seagate, to help businesses innovate, scale and compete internationally.
This online session will provide:
- Opportunities for 100% funding for SME innovation.
- An overview of the SPEAR Centre and its supports for SMEs
- Insight into how photonics and AI-driven technologies can be applied in industry
- Details of our upcoming SPEAR Roadshow events taking place across the region
