WiSAR Lab is pleased to invite you to DisrupTech on Tour, coming to Letterkenny on Tuesday, 1 September, followed by an afternoon tour of WiSAR Lab at Atlantic Technological University.
The Letterkenny event is part of a national regional roadshow organised to promote the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF) Call 8, providing an opportunity for companies, researchers and innovators to learn more about the €40 million funding opportunity and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
Morning Session – DisrupTech on Tour
📍 Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny
The morning session will provide practical information and networking opportunities, including:
- An overview of DTIF Call 8, including eligibility and funding opportunities
- Guidance on developing a strong DTIF application
- Insights from previously funded projects
- Opportunities to connect with potential consortium partners
- One-to-one support from the DTIF team
Lunch will be provided at the Mount Errigal Hotel following the morning session.
Afternoon – WiSAR Lab Tour
Following lunch, attendees are invited to visit WiSAR Lab at ATU’s Letterkenny Campus for a guided tour of our research facilities.
The tour will provide an opportunity to learn more about WiSAR’s research capabilities across areas including wireless sensor technologies, IoT, digital health, AI and applied research, as well as our experience working with industry and research partners on collaborative R&D projects.
The visit will also provide an opportunity to explore how WiSAR’s expertise and facilities could support potential DTIF Call 8 collaborations and future consortium proposals.
