LYIT Engineering Day
As part of the Engineers Week the Donegal branch of Engineers Ireland will be hosting an Engineering day in LYIT.
WiSAR Lab and other engineering companies will have promotional stands. LYIT student volunteers will be hosting guided tours of Engineering laboratories for schools.
We will be demonstrating aspects of some of the projects we have worked on; along with some prototype designs from the 3D printer.
The emphasis for each engineer will be to discuss the educational path they took and the work that they now do for their respective company. Each company will have a stand and sometimes Engineers can have laptops/drawings or equipment that they use in their daily work set up at the stand to show the students. Students who are considering a career in engineering are welcome and encouraged to attend.
