Rehab Group
Rehab Group is a national organisation supporting people with disabilities to access education, training, and employment. To enhance inclusive employment services, Rehab partnered with the WiSAR Lab through the Data2Sustain EDIH programme to automate the discovery of suitable job opportunities, reduce manual workload, and improve outreach efficiency.
Problem to Be Solved
Rehab Group staff manually searched multiple recruitment platforms to find suitable vacancies for jobseekers with disabilities. This process involved copying listings into a CRM and identifying employer contacts, a time-consuming approach that often led to:
- High administrative workload (approx. 20 hours per week)
- Duplicate or inconsistent data entry
- Limited reach across recruitment platforms
- Slow employer engagement due to manual lead identification
Rehab Group sought an automated, AI-enabled solution to streamline vacancy discovery, improve data accuracy, and allow staff to focus on personalised support for jobseekers.
WiSAR Solution
Data2Sustain and WiSAR Lab collaborated with Rehab Group to co-design and prototype an automated job aggregation and lead generation tool. The system uses AI, web scraping, and data processing pipelines to consolidate listings from multiple job boards into a single, filterable dashboard.
The solution enables Rehab Group to:
- Automatically gather job listings from platforms such as Indeed, JobsIreland.ie, and LinkedIn
- Filter roles by location, category, and relevant keywords (e.g., “Entry Level”, “Unskilled Labour”)
- Identify hiring contacts using Generative AI when not provided in listings
- Produce CRM-ready job entries to eliminate manual data entry and duplication
- Deliver real-time updates, allowing staff to act quickly on new opportunities
This prototype demonstrates WiSAR’s ability to apply AI, automation, and data integration to support social impact and inclusive employment initiatives.
